So, I have mentioned before, maybe in comments, that I would love to have a stitching group - cross-stitch, knit, crochet or whatever. I live in Greer, SC. I tried searching the blog sites but only found two people in this area. They may think I'm some crazy and not even answer me, but it's worth a try. Martha inspired me to give it a try. :)
So - Come on - Greer/Greenville/ Spartanburg Stitchers unite! [I make a really amazing banana pudding. In fact it's the ONLY thing I make, so you know it must be good!]

Good luck with the stitching group. It can sure be fun stitching with other people.
In the mean time maybe you can work on a SAL on line that is fun too.
See if you can get one started.
I'm doing the TW Castle and the Silver lining Tour Des Marques, with a few people. It helps to keep you focused.
Hi Jane,
Sorry about the abbreviations.
SAL is a Stitch along.
More than one person stitches on an identical piece for themselves
It is not a competition on who gets it done first...Just a nice way to stay in touch
We have one day a week that we all stitch on it.
It feels like you are doing it together.
Then we post a photo on our blog to show our progress.
RR. Is Round Robin
You actually stitch on some-one else's for them. They usually pick the chart. And then provide it and the fabric and it gets passed around by hand or mail for stitching, Then on to the next person. Could be 4 or more it doesn't matter. Then you do the same thing for them on their choice
If you will e-mail me I can give you some links. To some BB's...Bulletin boards.

Well Jane, I don't live in SC but if I did....I'd sure come on over and eat your bananna pudding as it's my favorite!
You crack me up! :)
Do you know Amy (downsunshine lane?) She lives somewhere in SC...but I'm not exactly sure where and how close you'd be?
