So, you really need to read the post after this before you look at these pictures. I am so excited to finally know how to do this.
Okay, so apparently they go on in the opposite order I was going for. Oh well.
I did it!!!!!
Okay, this is the picture of the sampler.
This is my sampler, still obviously a work in progress.

Ohhhh... pretty!! That sampler looks complicated and amazing!
Congrats on your grandbaby! What's the pattern for the baby blankie please? I'm thinking of doing one since I'm smitten with the softness of baby yarn...
And thank you for your kind words about our blog. I blush...
I am a 58 year old high school choral music teacher. I have two grown children and one grandchild who live TOO far away and I miss them soooo much!
Been x-stitching since 1975 - also enjoy knitting, sewing, scrapbooking, quilting...you name it! Sometimes it's hard to decide which thing to do!
I'm excited to find that there are others out there who are as passionate about their stitching etc. as I am.
We could learn a lot from crayons... some are sharp, some pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors... but they all exist very nicely in the same box!
[I borrowed this from Pat Winter of Gatherings.]
Pumpkins..I love them!
Being a Christian is like being a PUMPKIN !
God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.
He opens you up, touches you deep inside, scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc.
Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.
