Happy Holidays

I haven't been here in a while. I hope all of you have had a wonderful Christmas! Both of my children were home and it was so great! I had missed them both soooo much! DS flew in on the 19th and DD and SIL got here the next day. DD is VERY pregnant. It was fun to watch her tummy move around and I must admit we spent a very large amount of time doing just that. She is struggling with carpel tunnel syndrome and has to wear a wrist brace on both wrists. She gave me a beautiful mother/daughter necklace that was so special. It has two charms on it, one is mother of pearl and has Chinese symbols for mother and daughter and the other is silver and has it written in English. I love it and it meant so much for her to give it to me. DS gave me a docking station for the ipod he had given me for Mother's day. It was just what I wanted! The best thing of all was the time we got to spend together. It was so hard to see them off. DS was flying to Minneapolis and had to sit in the plane for half an hour waiting for them to clear the snow so they could get to the gate. [Here it was in the 50's and 60's.]

I have done absolutely NO stitching! I have been reading like crazy though. I plan to spend time tonight on my VOHRH - finally. I hope my SAL group hasn't kicked me out! I promise to catch up!

I am going to go now an catch up on reading all of your blogs and find out about your holidays! Happy Holidays!

Good to hear from you. I had been wondering what had happened to you. Figured you were just to busy to blog.

I am trying to get Block 3 done by the end of the month. There is a lot of stitches in that block.

Have fun stitching on your Village.
